HOORAY FOR ME! I finally have a fucking BLARRG like millions of other narcissistic idiots out there...

I will be filling it with all sorts of nonsense that I personally find amusing, disgusting, entertaining and most likely a little boring. I may even use it as a platform to subject you to my personal artwork, just like EVERY other miserable, aspiring artist out there in internet land. I can't guarantee that it will be an enjoyable experience for you - what I CAN guarantee is that it won't change the world in anyway shape or form.

In fact, I feel kinda sorry for you for stumbling onto this little speck on the World Wide Web, with millions of BLOGS and PORN WEBSITES vying for your precious time, you're wasting it here reading dopey shit. GO AWAY! Do something productive...make a sandwich, build a blanket fort, sit on the toilet and actually read a BOOK...Christ, do anything but hang around here.

That being said, if you have accidentally stumbled onto this site, feel free to poke around and make a comment or two if so inclined. Maybe I'll respond...or not, depends on my mood that day.

I look forward to wasting your time. -KEMO

Scholastic Book Fair Fun!

It was 1975, and I was in the third grade when the Scholastic Book Fair came to Tower Street Elementary School! It was one of the greatest days of the year for a little nerd like me. It was that time of year where I could buy a book or two of MY choosing, without anyone looking over my shoulder. If you remember, They used to wheel in these portable Book Shelves that contained an assortment of books and magazines that you could purchase THAT day, but you would also get an order form/catalog to take home so you could order MORE books! I was pretty good at working my parents AND grandparents into handing over a few bucks (usually about $2-which was BIG money back then) so I could buy a book or two at school that day and be one of the 'cool kids' that didn't have to wait 2-4 weeks for your books to arrive like everyone else...When you're 8-9 years old you're not known for your patience. So, when the average cost of a soft cover book was 50 cents - 1$  you could  walk away with a nice stack of books and Dynamite! magazines, to distract you for the rest of the day.

Well, the reason I bring this up today is because I was recently moving things around in my studio today and stumbled across this little gem of a book that has been tucked away on a bookshelf, forgotten, for YEARS. As I cracked it open a flood of memories came rushing back and I thought I'd share it with you guys....basically to remind all you 70's kids the kind of crap we ate! I can honestly tell you that I probably tried ALMOST every single recipe in this book, and most likely got the shits from more than one of them...I'm not a fan of mayonnaise and avocado was a rare delicacy on the east coast which we never had in the house, so recipes containing those ingredients were not tried. Missed opportunities. Oh well, enjoy the gastro delights in this glorious little 'cookbook'!
